Strength & Conditioning For Tennis
12 Week Programme
Strength & Conditioning For Performance
Further & Faster
We design and deliver strength and conditioning programmes to help our clients run further and faster.
The number one reason that people fail to complete their running distance in the time they want is muscle fatigue. What if you could run faster, with better running economy, to preserve vital muscle energy stores.
The right running biomechanics is the key to achieving an energy saving, effortless running style that will allow you to go further and faster.
To achieve effective running biomechanics, it is essential that muscles, tendons and fascia can deal with the loads and stresses effectively. This is where the right strength and conditioning programme comes in.

Strength & Conditioning For Injury Prevention
Injury Prevention
Tennis is a repetitive sport, multi directional, with lots of loads on the body.
Muscles, tendons, and fascia must be able to deal with loads that are exerted upon them when we run. Hamstrings can experience loads of up to 9 times our body weight, and if they are not sufficiently strong enough to deal with these loads muscles tears occur.
In addition to dealing with tensile forces our muscle, tendons and fascia must also stabilise our joints to stop the excessive movements that result in joint sprains.
We have helped many clients who took part in our strength and conditioning programme for runner, who had previously broken down in training with injuries complete marathons.

Our strength & conditioning tennis protocol
The aims of our tried and tested strength and conditioning protocol for running, developed over the last two decades, for helping our clients run further, faster, with less injuries.
Muscles
Strong and powerful muscles, that can exert the forces needed to drive your running but to deal with the tensile loads exerted on them.
Tendon & Fascia
Tendon and fascia strengthening and load resilience, to create a more spring like tensile strength for muscle energy conservation.
Joints
Optimal joint range of motion, alignment and stability for allow for proper running biomechanics.
Biomechanics
Optimal biomechanics of running. The driving force behind your strength and conditioning programme.
Flexibility & ROM
Flexible pliable muscles that allow you to achieve the proper range of motion for the correct biomechanics of running and injury reduction.
Single Leg Stability
Single leg balance and stability for ideal weight transfer, biomechanics, joint alignment and injury prevention.
“Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended them to others.”
